Drivbänken is one of three finalists for Malmö City's Stadsbyggnadspris (Urban Development Award) 2026..

It's wonderful to see the ideas from our competition entry Embassy of Sharing take shape. With Drivbänken, together with Granitor Properties, we have created architecture that increases social interaction — partly by extending the street's public realm into and through the building, and partly by creating shared functions and spaces. It's heartening to see the atrium, the staircase, and the terraces used by people of all ages and backgrounds, and to watch the plants take root and grow. We hope Drivbänken will work well for everyone who works in or visits the building.

We're also proud to be shortlisted alongside strong projects that each contribute to improving our city in their own way: ETC Hyllie by ETC Bygg och Kaminsky Arkitektur and Solidar by Christine Grimshorn, Josephine Formoso och Bengt Lundahl.
